Mike Jones serves as MySpace’s Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Mike oversees global business operations for MySpace, MySpace Music and MySpace Mobile. He is also responsible for business development, strategic partnerships and support operations across these platforms.

Mike brings over 14 years of business development, marketing and management experience to MySpace. A serial Internet entrepreneur, Mike has founded and sold numerous businesses, including web development firm PBJ Digital and application platform Userplane, which he led from startup to its acquisition by AOL. Mike also serves as an advisor to private startups and currently sits on the boards of Docstoc, GumGum, MoVoxx, People Media, Tsavo Media and FreeConference. A recognized industry leader, Mike speaks about social media at various conferences globally.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Marketing from the University of Oregon. He currently resides in Manhattan Beach, California with his wife Jennifer, daughter Oceane and son Orion.
